We are often thankful for all of our blessings, all of the 'plenty' in our lives. I'm also thankful for the 'need'.
Need, whether our own or that of others, serves to make us aware of how much we truly have. It is when needs arise that we are able to prioritize what is essential from the things that distract us from what is really important. Without need, we might never choose the most important things in life.
Need and plenty comes in many forms. Physical, emotional, and spiritual being the first that
come to mind. I'm thankful that the LORD is teaching me to recognize and appreciate that my greatest need and greatest blessing are one in the same...Him.
